By this we mean that Stilst has a unique approach to designing interiors. We do not align with superficial trends or the fads of the day. We also don’t go for quick and easy solutions. At Stilst, we take a holistic approach in which we focus on the deeper meaning and experience of your living environment. In our first meeting, we get to know each other and talk about your current lifestyle and how that may alter in the years to come. After all, our lives, and therefore our way of dwelling, are constantly changing. With that comes a timeless interior that can move along with the stages of life you go through.

Minimalist interior

What is a minimalist interior? For us, that is a composition of refined spaces that we design in detail and with sophisticated proportions. Every room deserves the highest possible attention and refinement for a pleasant and warm living environment. And we put the intended atmosphere at the center of it. An environment in which we create space for both reflection in silence and for meeting and interaction. Our own timeless furniture collection contributes to this. Remodeling your home or business is a major venture. You dream of an attractive interior, completely designed according to your taste and wishes. A place that resonates with your personal well-being and brings out the best in you. However, the process of turning that dream to reality is complex. Colors

One of the first steps in the design process is to draw up a palette of colors and materials. In fact, these largely determine the atmosphere of the room. When choosing these, trend colors are not leading. After all, we believe in timeless interiors. However, that does not mean we are dogmatic when it comes to colors. Color and material choices are determined by location, daylight, landscape, space, local culture and the people for whom we design. For example, a color scheme that works perfectly in the jungle of Mexico is not one we would choose for a house in the Dutch polder. We find that sensitivity to a modern interpretation of the “couleur locale” very important in designing an interior.
