Villa NM- Tulum<\/h1>\n

This villa in Tulum consists of two interlocking volumes. A wider volume in which the bedrooms and bathrooms are located and a deeper volume that contains the service areas on the street side and the living room, dining room and kitchen on the garden side.<\/p>\n

The house is designed to make optimal use of the large garden. The volumes are placed at the front of the plot and are oriented horizontally, so that the remaining jungle forms a green oasis on most of the plot.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the large glass facade of the living room, the interior and exterior flow seamlessly together. The kitchen is located in the middle of the living room and therefore forms the heart of the house. The two bedrooms are located on the edge of the plot and are set back from the main volume for maximum tranquility.<\/p>\n

On the first floor there are three bedrooms. There is also a spacious terrace with an outdoor kitchen, seating areas and a swimming pool. The outdoor kitchen also offers a full view of the green garden.<\/p>\n

The raw beauty of the concrete, containing the imprint of the wooden formwork, is complemented by the soft gray tones of ‘chukum’ plaster. We use locally produced dark wood for the interior doors and furniture. The matte black doorknobs, taps, lighting and window frames are the accents in this brutalist villa in Tulum.<\/p>\n

The air conditioning, which is indispensable in this climate, is placed out of sight and hidden behind grilles in the fitted wardrobes. There are solar panels on the roof.
