REK’s idea was simple: the bookcase needed to grow with their book collection. The cabinet’s zigzag shapes slide in and out almost seamlessly. The same principle applies to the REK coffee table. You can slide the two inner sections out of the stationary section in two directions doubling the length of the table. These parts slide independently of each other allowing for various combinations.
